1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how One Impact Market Pte Ltd (UEN 202499222K), which operates UGCSG (ugcsg.com), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA").

Our Data Protection Officer can be contacted at privacy@ugcsg.com.

2. Personal data we collect

Account details: name, email address, password (stored encrypted), role (Brand or Creator), and for Brands, a brand or display name.

Creator profile details: first and last name, chosen niches, video types, languages, filming setup, location area, age range, response time, a private WhatsApp number (seen only by our team), sample videos, and a verification photo (seen only by our team). For Creators under 18, the name of the parent or guardian who agreed on their behalf.

Payout and identity details (Creators): payout set-up is completed with Stripe. Stripe performs identity checks and shares with us limited results such as your verified name, date of birth, and an identifier (fingerprint) of your bank account. We do not receive your full bank account number or identity documents.

Billing details: legal or company name, address, UEN and GST number you give us for invoices and receipts.

Order and communication data: briefs and attached files, deliverables, drafts and videos, order history, chat messages, reviews, disputes, and the electronic signatures (typed name, time, IP address and browser) you give when agreeing to terms.

Payment data: payment amounts, status and references from Stripe. Card or bank details you enter at checkout are handled by Stripe, not stored by us.

Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and actions taken, collected through cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics (see section 7).

3. How we use your personal data

To create and manage your account; review and approve Creator profiles; show Creator profiles and samples to Brands; process orders, payments, refunds, payouts, invoices and receipts; operate chat and notifications; and provide customer support.

To keep UGCSG safe and fair: verify identities, detect and prevent fraud, duplicate accounts and attempts to move deals off-platform (including by automatically reviewing briefs, files, links and messages), enforce our terms, and resolve disputes.

To understand and improve UGCSG, including through analytics; to send service emails about your account and orders; and, where you agree, to send updates about UGCSG (you can opt out at any time).

To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to respond to lawful requests from authorities.

4. What other users see

Brands see a Creator's initials (not their full name), profile details, services, watermarked sample videos and reviews. Brands do not see a Creator's email, phone number, photo or address.

Creators see a Brand's display name and the brief and files the Brand sends with an order. Invoices and receipts between Brands and Creators identify the parties by a UGCSG ID, and show only the billing details needed for that document.

Contact details typed into chat are hidden from the other party.

5. Who we share personal data with

Service providers who process data for us under contract, including: Stripe (payments, payouts and identity checks); our hosting, database and file/video storage providers (including Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services); our email delivery provider; Google (Google Analytics); and AI service providers we use to review briefs and files for safety.

Your community manager (a person who helps Creators on UGCSG) may see a Creator's profile, orders and contact details to support them.

Professional advisers, and authorities or other parties where required or permitted by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of UGCSG, our users or others. A buyer or successor of our business, if the business is transferred.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Transfers outside Singapore

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Singapore (for example, in the United States or the European Union). Where we transfer personal data overseas, we take steps to make sure it receives protection comparable to the PDPA, such as contractual protections with our providers.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure UGCSG. We also use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to help us understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are visited). Google may process this data on its servers outside Singapore under its own privacy terms.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of UGCSG from working.

8. How long we keep personal data

We keep personal data while your account is open and for as long as needed for the purposes above.

After your account is closed, we keep your account, profile and communication data for up to 2 years (for example, to handle late disputes, chargebacks or claims), and then delete or anonymise it.

Records we must keep by law — such as orders, payments, invoices, receipts and payouts — are kept for at least 5 years, as required by Singapore tax and accounting rules.

If we close an account for fraud or a serious breach of our terms, we may keep limited identifying information (such as email address, verified name and date of birth, and bank account fingerprint) for as long as needed to stop the same person returning.

9. How we protect personal data

We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted connections, encrypted passwords, restricted staff access, watermarked and non-downloadable video previews, and short-lived links to private files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as required by the PDPA.

10. Your choices and rights

You can access and update most of your details in your account. You may also ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to how we use it, by emailing privacy@ugcsg.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may charge a reasonable fee for access requests, which we will tell you about first.

If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to keep providing some or all of UGCSG to you, and we will tell you what that means before acting on it. Withdrawing consent does not affect data we must keep by law.

11. Children

UGCSG is not intended for children. Creators under 18 may only use UGCSG with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to our terms on their behalf. A parent or guardian may contact privacy@ugcsg.com about their child's data.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the new version on this page with its date. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or on UGCSG.
